This Juvenile Northern Shrike was found 1/4 mile east of Summit Lake State
Park Entrance on C.R. 600. I found it immediately after I located the adult
Shrike at Sunset Shelter, on 12-29-07. This juvenile bird was scaly brown,
hook beaked and had no mask. The farmer across the street has many feeders
which probably attracted this shrike here.
